I took my car to Ward's for a major repair and was very pleased with the job done.
From the day I drove the car off the lot, it never ran quite right.  Despite numerous trips to the dealership, it was never truly corrected and I learned to live with it.  When registration time approached, I took the car to a repair shop in Pasadena who told me the engine was junk without even looking at it.  A friend recommended Ward's, and I took it there, figuring what is there to lose.  It turned out that the fuel pressure regulator was the root cause of the problem, and nobody prior to Ward's had the tenacity to dig and find the real problem.  Ironically, the car runs much better today than it ever did when it was new. Like many folks, we have taken our vehicles to various establishments for repair in the past. We've had some OK experiences, some not so OK experiences, and some that were downright horrible. While driving home to San Diego on a 100-degree day, my car started to overheat. I drove to the nearest exit for my car to have a chance to cool down, and then took it to this highly rated garage, Ward Service Auto Repair. I was greeted courteously and told to wait in their air-conditioned waiting room. An hour later they said the coolant was low and I should be good to go. I mentioned that my A/C was also not working (my home garage had assumed it was a mechanical issue and said it would take a full day to fix). When I asked Ward's if they could check the Freon, they agreed and said it would take about 90 minutes. Just 90 minutes later, I had A/C after they checked the Freon and topped it off.
I was hot and tired after getting up at five o'clock in the morning to drive to Los Angeles and I was impressed that they got me back on the road, as a walk-in, in less than 3 hours. I was grateful for their service and I wish I lived closer because they'd have my business for life! -Heidi M.
 

I met Jim Ward about 13 years ago; he was the coach of my AYSO Soccer league. My father and him formed a great friendship, and that's when we started taking our cars there.
I wasn't driving at the time, but I was looking for some work. Jim Ward didn't hesitate to give me an opportunity volunteering a few times a week. This opportunity allowed me to see how the mechanics work everyday. Not only is Jim charismatic and patient with every customer, I also found this to be true with every person working at Ward Service Auto Repair. The mechanics and the employees in the front are all friendly, thorough, with a kind smile. You can tell that they are happy to represent Jim Ward's Auto Mechanic Service.

If there is a problem, Ward himself will take a look without hesitation. Jim will make sure your vehicle is taken care of as promised and he won't take advantage of the situation, he treats all customers fairly.
