Like many folks, we have taken our vehicles to various establishments for repair in the past. We've had some OK experiences, some not so OK experiences, and some that were downright horrible. Then one day while complaining to a little old lady friend in Glendale, she recommended I try Ward Service Auto Repair in Monrovia.  I took her advise and still, to this day (she is now in her 90's), I often thank her for her advise from many years ago.

The shop is spotlessly clean, and very efficiently run.  The personnel are very friendly, and very knowledgeable.  They have never let me down.  The crew always keeps me informed on both my vehicles when service is due.  I have been going there for years, and have never had anything but a pleasurable experience.  They always find the problem, repair it promptly, and bill me a fair price.  Isn't that what we want? Their facility is also pet friendly, our dog; Bruin loves to tag along with us to the automobile shop too. -Bill C.

The customer service at Ward Service Auto Repair is excellent. The technicians are very reliable and high integrity. If your vehicle is going to need some extra work done, they will call you with an estimated cost and advise whether or not it is a safety requirement or if it can wait until next time.

While driving home to San Diego on a 100-degree day, my car started to overheat. I drove to the nearest exit for my car to have a chance to cool down, and then took it to this highly rated garage, Ward Service Auto Repair. I was greeted courteously and told to wait in their air-conditioned waiting room. An hour later they said the coolant was low and I should be good to go. I mentioned that my A/C was also not working (my home garage had assumed it was a mechanical issue and said it would take a full day to fix). When I asked Ward's if they could check the Freon, they agreed and said it would take about 90 minutes. Just 90 minutes later, I had A/C after they checked the Freon and topped it off.
I was hot and tired after getting up at five o'clock in the morning to drive to Los Angeles and I was impressed that they got me back on the road, as a walk-in, in less than 3 hours. I was grateful for their service and I wish I lived closer because they'd have my business for life! -Heidi M.
 

I met Jim Ward about 13 years ago; he was the coach of my AYSO Soccer league. My father and him formed a great friendship, and that's when we started taking our cars there.
I wasn't driving at the time, but I was looking for some work. Jim Ward didn't hesitate to give me an opportunity volunteering a few times a week. This opportunity allowed me to see how the mechanics work everyday. Not only is Jim charismatic and patient with every customer, I also found this to be true with every person working at Ward Service Auto Repair. The mechanics and the employees in the front are all friendly, thorough, with a kind smile. You can tell that they are happy to represent Jim Ward's Auto Mechanic Service.

When you walk in the shop, there is a big banner that says, "The Least Expensive Job is the Job done right the first time." This sums up the shop in Monrovia perfectly.
If there is a problem, Ward himself will take a look without hesitation. Jim will make sure your vehicle is taken care of as promised and he won't take advantage of the situation, he treats all customers fairly. To sum it up, Jim is very knowledgeable about all types of vehicles, old and new. It is no surprise that the mechanic staff represent the same kind of values. 

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else, because I know Jim Ward and his staff will solve the problem the first time at a fair price. Jim Ward's shop is the best in the area because they get your vehicle fixed properly, quickly and at a reasonable price, plus THEY DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with your auto repair service at Ward's in the Monrovia area. I highly recommend that you take your vehicles to 130 Railroad Ave, in Monrovia for all of your automobile repair needs. You won't find another mechanic that will make you feel right at home, comfortable, and treated fairly!
