For years I have found myself "safe" in the hands of the Wards and their employees. I have never been asked to do a repair not needed. I have had clarity about what could wait and what was urgent. I have never had to return with an inaccurate repair. My cars have run well on the advice and repair care of Jim Ward and Terry who can "hear" what is wrong if I can repeat the sound of the "concern" I am there for.
My last stop was when a battery went dead at LAX airport - I got a AAA jump - consulted with Terry on the phone about the level of battery options, drove directly to Wards, and 1/2 hour later reviewed the battery diagnostics and had my input into new or not new battery.
I have followed Ward from downtown Pasadena to Myrtle Avenue in Monrovia and the peace of mind and competence of car repair is more than compensating for the driving distance. Larry will always take me home or pick me up as needed unless I bring my computer and work in the client office. In the 49 years that I have had a drivers licence and driven a car, the Ward service I was introduced to in 1986 has been far and above any other service I ever experienced.
There are not really words to describe all the levels at which Wards excel from "customer first" to the best mechanics, and the consultation I receive prior to major repairs. - Laila A.
